Kristopher Passey is a former owner-publisher of community and business newspapers. His career includes executive stints at small chains on both coasts and as publisher of the McGraw-Hill owned Daily Journal construction newspaper and various business directories in Denver, CO. He started his journalism career as a business news reporter, then managing editor and has also worked as a training editor. He is currently finishing his thesis at the University of Missouri (Spring 2010). He is also the owner/principle of Passy Cassini and Associates, a geographic research company. The name of the company comes from Frederick Passy, a pre name-change ancestor, and the Cassini family of astronomer geographers that mapped France, among other accomplishments.
